The Discovery of the Lost World

by Djarielm

The Distant Future

It was the seventh and last stage of mankind. The last continent formed was set mostly in ruins of old buildings and forgotten machinery, buried beneath the old and the new worlds. With bleak visions of the future, the gods of the east, have decided to reunite to bring harmony and peace to what is still left of the world, but more so to find a reason behind the mysteriously formation of neighboring planets that formed in our solar system. So many times men had ignored the outcries for help and warning signs that nature and the beyond had send to them. A need for help some may say, but others merely believed that this was illusions set from beyond to trick man. Mankind, has evolved not to futuristic machinery and robots as depicted by so many before, but back again to primitive objects like spears and bows, and stones to build there walls for protection from the west. The old gods were long forgotten and new ones have formed. In principle they were still the same, but with new appearances. Some rule the dark corners in the west and some ruled what is still left of the east. The west and east was separated by the Dark Forest, and many has ventured into the this forest to seek help from the west and reunite as one, but no one has ever returned from such voyage. The forest was filled with exotic plant life believed to be from other worlds and timelines that ran through the forest. Fewer men dared to pursue the west, and settled for other alternatives, but many also believed that the west was no longer and felt that sacrificing their lives was not worth it, and soon the west has become forgotten to men.

Lord Gudka (Religion)

Lord Gudka, the god of order and Peace, ruler of the far east, decided to take the unknown journey into the dark forest in an attempt to save men from all extinction and finally bring peace to the dark forest, so it might be rid of all demonized flowers and creatures that is somehow controlled by a dark deity, Zupra, the god of the dark universe. Lord Gudka, believed that the mysterious appearance of the glowing red and green planets might be an illusion set by Zupra in deceiving mankind to join his rival in darkness and feeding of their fears and confusions.

The Dark Forest (Nature)

As Lord Gudka, ventured into the dark forest, he was sickened by what he discovers. Plants from other worlds, in rich colors, reaching for heavens, but releasing a dark stench odor. The trees seem to be tired, as if they were fighting a battle to survive. Trying to survive this dark feeding power that holds them in their grip, keeping them alive, as if the whole forest depends on them. Lord Gudka, moved as fast as he could through the forest. Many times he sensed that he was followed, which seems at times like spider type creatures, but larger than any spider he has ever seen. They camouflage themselves in the dark corners and at times he gets a glimpse of their red mesmerizing eyes. Lord Gudka could also hear a faint scream of a woman in agony and pain, somehow trapped and desperate, but that was followed by a sadistic laughter, one that enjoys bringing suffering and pain. Lord Gudka was filled with fear, and the darkness crept inside him as he ventured deeper into the forest. Almost all sounds were gone now, but an eerie blowing whistle through top of the trees could still be heard. Speaking a language he cannot understand, and that was long forgotten by men. He bravely moved through the forest, fighting the darkness that now filled his whole body, weakening him with every step. He is filled with sadness and fear, and he felt the energy being sliced out of his body. At times a dark cloud surrounded him, and he found himself in different places, as if he traveled through space and time to different forests with even more terrifying creatures that lured in the dark corners. What seemed like days and years that Lord Gudka traveled through the forest, can in fact not be told, as Lord Gudka traveled through multiple time zones that was connected through the neighboring planets and illusions that Zupra set before him. At a nearby lake, another one of Zupra’s illusions, he drank of the water to kill his thirst, and what he has seen in his reflection frightened him, as he was already lifeless and dead. The darkness has filled every inch of his body and he looked no more than that of a corpse. Lord Gudka rose up and started to run, trying to get away from this forest and the screams, and laughter’s that still echoes in his ears. He kept running until he came to the end of a cliff.

The Lost World (Discovery)

What lies before Lord Gudkha was not expected. There goes a myth, by men from cities of the far east, of a lost world where men still live in peace, but its believed to be a myth as no such world could exists in the far west, but before Lord Gudka lies the lost world they have seeked for so many decades. Lord Gudka was not sure if this world is another illusion of Zupra, as this lost world invoked a stronger sense of darkness than what he encountered in the forest. Lord Gudka knew that Zupra wants to have a kingdom on earth, and was this maybe his kingdom? As lord Gudka, stood their he could see the dark clouds swirling over the city set in the mountain hills. Two large towers stood watch over the city and the forest, and on the top layer of the city was a mysteriously large flower. Larger than those he found in the forest. If Lord Gudka, remembers correctly this is the flower of the demon, Zondo, the son of Zupra. It seems that harmony finally exists again between these to long rival entities that now rule the dark forest and the lost world. Lord Gudka are faced with the possibilities of returning to the forest and be killed or face Zondo and Zupra and finally bring peace to men.
